Triumph Scrambler 1200 X Triumph Motorcycles has introduced the Scrambler 1200 X to the Indian market following the release of the revised Scrambler 1200 lineup in the global market. The new Triumph Scrambler 1200 X is priced at Rs 11.83 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes in three color variations: Sapphire Black, Ash Grey, and Carnival Red. The seat is a single-piece assembly that has a 795mm lower height adjustment. The 1200 X is more accessible since it has a standard seat height of 820mm, which is 20mm lower than the 1200 XC. Other than that, the Triumph Scrambler 1200 X’s riding position is different from that of the top-spec XE. Compared to the X model, the handlebars on the XE are 65 mm wider. Additionally, the XE has adjustable foot levers and a roughly 10mm spacer.

A 1,200cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine with a 270-degree crankshaft powers the new Scrambler 1200 X. The engine can produce 110Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm and 89bhp at 7,000 rpm when mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike weighs 228 kilos on the scales, and its tank holds 15 liters.

Similar-looking digital console with optional features including turn-by-turn navigation and alerts for notifications is found on the Triumph Scrambler 1200 X. An IMU-enabled traction control system, cornering dual-channel ABS, and five riding modes (Rain, Road, Sport, Off-road, and Custom Rider) are also available. There are over 70 official attachments on top of it, ranging from decorative to practical.

In terms of hardware, the Triumph Scrambler 1200 X is equipped with a tubular steel frame that is supported by USD front forks that are non-adjustable and preload-adjustable dual rear shocks that are made by Marzocchi and have a wheel travel of 170mm. Keep in mind that the 1200 X’s suspension is tuned for on-road handling.
The anti-lock braking system helps the braking hardware, which consists of two 310mm discs with a two-piston Nissin axial caliper in the front and one 255mm disc with a single-piston floating Nissin caliper. The motorbike has aluminum wheels measuring 21 inches up front and 17 inches back, with tubeless tires measuring 90/90 on the front and 150/70 on the back.

The Daytona 660 was introduced in the European market at € 10,045 (about Rs 8.98 lakh) before its debut in India. A 660cc inline-three engine coupled to a six-speed transmission powers the motorcycle. The engine’s maximum output is 95 horsepower and 69 Nm of torque, and its redline is set at 12,650 rpm.

The Triumph Scrambler 1200 X is priced at £11,895 (about Rs 11.93 lakh) in foreign markets, with the top-spec XE variant costing £13,295 (nearly Rs 13.33 lakh). The bike costs around Rs 10,000 less in India.
